Poor Abby!

Emmy loves Abby. Almost too much. Abby takes a lot of torture from Emmy. I think she might just be the best dog in the world! Here's the latest. . . meet Emmy's new baby.

I *Heart* March Madness!

This is my favorite time of year and I can't beleive that Arizona made it to the big dance for the 25th straight year! It was pretty questionable whether they would make it or not. Amazing that they mad it. Wooohooo! I love to watch hours upon hours of great basketball! This year we even have Emmy in on the action and she is actually making picks for our Annual Gomez Family Pool! My family does it round by round, so it will be interesting to see how she does. Aren't we such good parents to start her young! I can't wait until Thursday for the tournament to start! Go Cats!

I did it!

I finally did it! I learned to crochet! I even made Emmy a "people" (Disney princess) blanket! With help from my mom and Sherry I was able to accomplish my goal! For this blanket I edged it with a shell type border. This blanket that I made was 1 1/2 yards of material. I'm so proud of myself! Don't look too close though! :) Now it's off to see what else I can do! I may try a small afghan . . .

3 Already!?

I can't believe it, but it's true! My little girl turned three this past weekend. She is so beautiful, sweet, loving, funny, and wonderful . . . when she wants to be! :) We love her so much and are so grateful to have her in our lives. She had a fun party with family and friends that was a Mickey Mouse theme. AND . . . she got a purple princess bike from Mommy & Daddy! We had a great weekend!

Our Hero

We had a cat wonder into our backyard today and Abby chased it up the huge tree in our backyard. Shaun and Emmy watched it for a while and we then discovered that the cat was stuck! I talked Shaun into climbing the tree to rescue the cat. Emmy was excited and thought that it was Felix in her tree (my sister's cat in Phoenix). Shaun was able to bring the cat and himself down safely. He says it's the first time in a decade that he's had to climb a tree! Great job Shaun!
