Not a good way to wake up! :)

Just kidding, it was actually a little nice. Shaun is wondering why he moved to Southern Arizone. He came to AZ to get away from the snow and it has snowed every year since we have been here! Emmy's face lit up and she wanted to go touch it. She touched/looked at snow for about 10 minutes and then was ready to come inside because she was too cold. When we came in she asked if she could watch a movie. I said "sure, what movie do you want to watch?" She replied "Frosty the Snowman"! She really makes me laugh sometimes!

Update

Ok, so I know I have been neglecting the blog, but there really hasn't been that much exciting in our lives! So, here's a little update. I just had a birthday and thankfully don't feel any older!

Emmy is in the process of potty training and is doing pretty good, but I can't get her to poop in the potty! I also think that she has accidents on purpose sometimes just to drive me crazy!

This past week the Gem show has been going on. One of my favorite things to do in Tucson! I went 4 times last week and loved every minute of it! Hopefully I'll make it back at least 1 more time this week. Beads, beads and more beads!

Shaun has been excited because he got a 50 gallon fish tank! We have 22 fish in there and he loves it! Abby and Emmy love to watch the fish too! Hopefully I'll have some pictures soon!

Visitors!

On New Year's Day, Grandpa Jensen, Miss Marilyn, and Great Grandma Jensen came to visit for a couple of days. Emmy really enjoyed playing with them and we had a good time showing them some of Tucson. We took them to the Zoo, fed the ducks at Reid Park and then old Tucson the next day. The weather was absolutely beautiful while they were here so it gave them a nice getaway from the snow!

Merry Christmas!

We had a great Christmas and hope that you did too! Emmy was really fun this year.
On Christmas Eve we set out the traditional cookies, milk and carrots for Santa and his reindeer. Emmy decided that Santa needed his milk in a sippy cup. I tried to talk her out of it, but I wasn't able to. She also decided that Rudolf needed milk too and it had to be in a sippy cup as well! So, this is the plate we left out for Santa and Rudolf!
Santa brought Emmy a dollhouse this year. She was so excited when she saw it that she exclaimed, "Santa brought me a BIG Dollhouse!" It was hard to pull her away from it to open other presents. She was so cute and has spent hours playing with it. Thanks Santa! :)

Merry Christmas!

Zoo Lights

On the 22nd of December we took Emmy to the Zoo lights. Allison came with us and we had a lot of fun. This year some of the animals were actually awake. Emmy is so outgoing, that she was trying to see the Elephants and couldn't, so she turned to a complete stranger and asked her to pick her up so she could see. The lady did it she said because Emmy asked so nicely! That's our girl!

They had "snow" here too.

Emmy & Allison

Emmy wouldn't get near Santa this year. She was clinging on for dear life!
