Visitors!

On New Year's Day, Grandpa Jensen, Miss Marilyn, and Great Grandma Jensen came to visit for a couple of days. Emmy really enjoyed playing with them and we had a good time showing them some of Tucson. We took them to the Zoo, fed the ducks at Reid Park and then old Tucson the next day. The weather was absolutely beautiful while they were here so it gave them a nice getaway from the snow!

Merry Christmas!

We had a great Christmas and hope that you did too! Emmy was really fun this year.
On Christmas Eve we set out the traditional cookies, milk and carrots for Santa and his reindeer. Emmy decided that Santa needed his milk in a sippy cup. I tried to talk her out of it, but I wasn't able to. She also decided that Rudolf needed milk too and it had to be in a sippy cup as well! So, this is the plate we left out for Santa and Rudolf!
Santa brought Emmy a dollhouse this year. She was so excited when she saw it that she exclaimed, "Santa brought me a BIG Dollhouse!" It was hard to pull her away from it to open other presents. She was so cute and has spent hours playing with it. Thanks Santa! :)

Merry Christmas!

Zoo Lights

On the 22nd of December we took Emmy to the Zoo lights. Allison came with us and we had a lot of fun. This year some of the animals were actually awake. Emmy is so outgoing, that she was trying to see the Elephants and couldn't, so she turned to a complete stranger and asked her to pick her up so she could see. The lady did it she said because Emmy asked so nicely! That's our girl!

They had "snow" here too.

Emmy & Allison

Emmy wouldn't get near Santa this year. She was clinging on for dear life!

Pretty Girl!

Here's a couple of pictures of Emmy in her Christmas dress. It's a beautiful Emerald green color with valor and satin. When Shaun was getting her dressed for church she told him, "I don't want to be pretty!" I got her to pose for the pictures by telling her that she could take a picture with Abby, hence the last shot. She looked so cute!

Enchanted Snow!

One of the shopping centers here does "Enchanted Snow Fall" on the weekends through Christmas. We took Emmy to see it and she loved it. It was fun to play in it. It's really tiny bubbles, but it does kind of look like snow and the kids loved it. It fell in your hair and stuck to things just like snow, but it wasn't cold! This is our kind of snow fall! :)
